This replaces a Dyson v12. Chose bagless to avoid expense of bags. We have a mix of carpet, rugs and hard floors. When choosing this model I found the AI Vacuum Assistant very helpful.
Suction very good and appreciate the option of 4 levels at the turn of a dial. Also appreciate the ability to stop and start without bending down.
I find the cord rewind too powerful and the plug slams into the body of machine so I loosely hold the plug now when re-winding. The cord is long enough that I can plug into one room and easily clean the rooms either side of it and across the hallway. (Small bungalow)
Vacuum body glides smoothly along and changes direction easily. The hose seems sturdy, accessories well made. The ability to park the floor head and suction tube at the side of the vacuum is very useful.
The turbo brush is essential for carpets and brings up the pile on our carpets nicely. The only negative I have relates to this brush. It is very narrow and cannot easily be removed for removal of hair. I have long hair and after vacuuming a room have to remove the hair wrapped around the brushed by cutting with scissors. The narrow slot giving access to the brush makes this awkward. I would welcome being able to easily remove the brush for cleaning.
I bought the parquet twister to clean the hard floors. This is an excellent, simple head which works. I also have the Sub 20 universal brush for cleaning the narrow areas the twister is too wide to enter as well as skirting boards. This was another helpful suggestion from the AI assistant.
Very happy with product so far, would recommend.
