Good quality original part.
The current design of the Miele tubular handle is slightly different to the one originally supplied with my C3 vacuum, there is no longer a metal insert on the underside and the curve is slightly less pronounced, but still it is the high quality part to be expected.
The old part suffered a stress fracture which propagated from the pressure relief opening, almost causing it to split in two after about 15 years of use, which I guess may be one of the reasons why Miele have changed the design.
